Music topic is one of my weak point:D
I listening almost everything except rap, techno, and hip-hop, well, it's not true, because if i find interesting the actual music i can enjoy everything.
But my most favorite style is rock, metal, symphonic metal like Nightwish, Rhapsody of fire, Within Temptation and so on.
A last few years i fell in love with the wonderful movie soundtracks aaand the cinematic trailer music^^
This can be very inspirational for drawing and for writing too.
You may know about Two steps from Hell. This group is my favorite^^ I link some music from them is you don't mind

I don't draw much with music playing but when I do it is Halo or Immedate Music.

^ Halo has awesome music. I LOVED it for the short time I got to play Halo 3 on my brother's xbox when he brought it over.

I love it because it is constantly building and spills over. I feel drowned in it yet inspired. It helps me focus and keeps me on track.

I spent months trying to get to the final boss. (He was easy but the rest of the game was a killer) Of course before seeing the last part I had to go to an appointment. >,<
