Here is the section for our Storyline Roleplays! This is the place where, if you have background (past/present/future) that you would like to develop for you Shinlai/Human by roleplaying, here is where you would do that!
However, because this is different from the other roleplays, there are some rules you must follow to ensure that everyone has a good time!
1. Remember that these roleplays have a story to them, so please be sure to remain active so it can be finished and the background can be developed.
2. Your Shinlai/Human may not be needed to fulfill an event/story, so if you’re not invited, please do not jump in! If you would like to join that roleplay, please send the creator of that roleplay a note with your reason why your Shinlai/Human is significant to the story.

Hello community!
Alana here to introduce a new type of Role-play that will open up on the Shinlai Community Forum! This new type of role-play will be called, “Storyline Role-play”, and will follow a Storyline! I know what you’re thinking, “Alana, don’t all role-plays technically follow a Storyline?”, well to be honest with you, they really don’t. Role-plays that I’ve been a part of really don’t have a set objective, usually a bunch of characters and that change and twist the plot in a moment’s notice. Storyline Role-plays are different.
If you’ve ever created a character, then you’ve probably also developed background for this character. But what if your character is involved in some sort of group, clan, family, and/or relationship that involves other characters owned by other people? A Storyline Role-play helps build that background by allowing one-on-one (or a small group) to role-play a story out.
But Alana, couldn’t we do that anyway? Sure, you can go ahead and try to role-play a important event in your character’s life and see how it turns out when four other people decide to jump in who have no relation to the story whatsoever. You see what I mean?
Using this type of role-play, you can eliminate that. You can “lock in” certain people, while “locking out” others (They, in turn, get to read the story as it unfolds.) so you can play out a story/event and see what happens!
Here are some examples….
~AlanaRoseheart and *Saphirawolf have two characters, Brute and Linx, who are forced to form a relationship/friendship/etc. because of their ties to Darius Kordeth. But what event brought them together? Or forced them to hate each other? By using a Storyline role-play, these members can play out the time when Linx was introduced to the Darkblood Elites and what happened on a secret mission!
*OddOsprey and ~AlanaRoseheart have two characters, Sitka and Larkein, who are currently mated. But how did they meet? Was it love at first sight? Or a bitter struggle to gain the other’s heart? By using a Storyline role-play, these members can play out this moment, building a strong relationship for their characters, and TO their characters.
~Khrests, ~XxSilasxX, and ~AlanaRoseheart have a problem on their hands. Ananth and Silas are ina relationship, but does Denton know about this? EVEN WORSE, does Darius even know? What will happen to the couple if Darius finds out? This group of people could use a Storyline role-play to see what would happen!
One-on-one rp’s (or a small group) are more interactive and allow stories to develop, also building background for characters, possibly changing the past, present, and future.
