FOOTBONES? LOLWUT

I would love a little diagram of how a Shinlai foot works. No matter how much I practice I can't get it right ;-;
Also some sorta skeletal diagram one day would be rad.

I agree, Rocket. Shinlai feetses keel me...
Though; I find it better is when looking at a pose to look at a picture of a horse more than anything...
I find their anatomy isn't quite 100%, but if it's a black horse or a silhouette the pose works pretty good for the anatomy! :D

Well I fail at footsies anyway, but what I did was go round the Shinlai images and stare at the feet quite a bit XD
And if you got some spare paper and doodled lotsa feets on it then eventually you'll get a style that works :B

And a Shinlai skeleton picture would be sooo cool!

*Grabs giant anatomy book* When I draw Shinlai, I think I base them of some horse and big cat anatomy. Dogs help too. especially when they run, horses have a different gait than a dog or a cat (hence the term "gallop" vs "bound") since their leg and torso structures differ a great bit. C:

I loathe drawing feet. D< They are so aggravating~

But yes, a foot diagram would be awesome~

I always have a hard time drawing shinlai feet... it hard to get it right! I usually look at other peoples art to help me draw my feet.XD

Anyway, I'm sure I can do something to help, but it'll be a while before I can get back into my mojo.

I've been meaning to make a How To Draw: Basic Shinlai tutorial, something that will take you through the basic steps on how I draw a Shinlai. I don't use any references, I just kind of go into it.

It'd have to be a day when Wrynn and I could get together, then set up a small stage area for me to work. Figure out camera angles, lights, and get a camera XD

I'll draw some feet, since I do skeletal models before I add the rest. It took me awhile to draw the feet, but I got it after awhil..

just remember, claws up, not on the ends, the bottoms are flat and the feet are wide. XD

I guess I could try to do something if anyone wants me to. :3 I do believe my feet probably aren't the BEST out there, but y'know, they're at least passable. LOL

I drew some anatomy shiz a while back; but my anatomy isn't perfect to say the least.
The anatomy for the bones ect was based of a mix of lion, canine, and bear anatomy. Even now I see a butt ton of mistakes... but hopefully this can help someone D:
