Shinlai T-Shirts

Yeah, you heard me.

Silas and I have been talking about this for AGES now, and when I say AGES, I mean ever since the idea for Denton and Silas were born... which was quite interesteing.

You see, I originally made Denton to put on the first ever adoption sheet, but when he was finished, I was so proud of that mohawk and the character that POURED from his laughing jaws, that I just HAD to keep him. I showed 'Silas' and they asked me to make one for them. So, in spirit of my mohawked Shinlai, Silas was born! <3 It was rather fun.

ANYWAY.
Way off topic there.

Silas and I want to have T-shirts made of Denton and Silas, but now that we have the communtiy and over FORTY Shinlai, we think that it would be better to make like a group picture chibi thing and have T-shirts made of that instead. Custom T-shirts would cost more, so ordering in bulk would save us a lot of money.

If you think this is a good idea and that we should invest more time and thought into this, please show your support! I mean, what's cooler than a FREAKIN SHINLAI T-SHIRT.

Seriously! I think it's a great idea <3

The only problem I see is, there's so many Shinlai! It'd be a real challenge to fit all of them on there. And so many are added every week, it'd be hard to keep up. Eventually, I think I would just have to select major Shinlai/active Shinlai to be in the group thing.

Yup.

So, after some more research, they will only take a max number of colors for the logo.

And I'm sure that you guys have noticed our rainbow collection of Shinlai we have. I will try my hardest to find a company that will take many colors, but if I can't.... Well, I'll still make it look good.

We can definetely work together. If everyone made their own chibis and sent them in say by november, I could line them all out and using one or two colors (seeing as the moar colors the more expensive it will be) We could do a shinlai shirt collab drawing from the entire Community!

If you learn how to silkscreen, you don't have to worry too too much about max colours
(but then you have to worry about cost...hrm)

I was actually thinking of trying this out when I got the materials.
Oh, and NEVER try print-out iron-ons. They crack and flake.

Or maybe have the design black and white? and have colour for the eyes? Just throwing things out there.

I WOULD BUY LIKE TEN. AND WEAR ONE EVERYDAY.

Any news about T-Shirts? Or has it just fell flat?

Either way I have an idea to produce something ;D
